Important Dates

Sunday, January 5th:
First day of Winter Session STAR-NY tutoring for pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, calc I, and intro to statistics

Monday, January 20th:
Office closed

Monday, January 27th:
First day of classes

Monday, February 3rd:
Drop-in tutoring begins and the ASTC tutoring appointment schedule is available on Navigate

Monday, February 10th:
Tutoring appointments and PAL sessions begin

Course-Based Tutoring

The ASTC offers undergraduate students FREE one-on-one and small group tutoring appointments for various courses. In-person and online drop-in tutoring is also available for a variety of courses.Learn More(Course-Based Tutoring)

Skill-Based Tutoring

This service gives students the opportunity to work one-on-one with a tutor to develop and enhance their academic success strategies in areas such as time management, study behaviors, using evidence-based learning strategies, goal setting, and using campus resources.Learn More(Skill-Based Tutoring)

Peer Assisted Learning

Our PAL leaders create an informal, relaxed environment where students are challenged to work through course related problems together and share study strategies. Currently, the ASTC offers PAL for MAP 103, MAT 123, MAT 125, MAT 126, & CHE 132.Learn More(Peer Assisted Learning)

Study Jams
