Inauguration of the Parati Library of Migration Studies

A panel of speakers, including Graziella Parati (Dartmouth), Marie Orton (BYU), Simone Brioni (SBU), and Loredana Polezzi (SBU), will discuss the state of contemporary Italian migration studies and honor Parati's gift of 268 books and pamphlets to the Center's library. Light refreshments will follow the panel.

Archbishop Caccia will be in conversation with Dr. Vincenzo Pascale (LIU and NGO Migrantes) regarding the diplomatic efforts of the Holy See Mission to the United Nations, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and more. This event is part of the UNICO-Dragotta lecture series (Center for Italian Studies) and the Global Catholicism series (Institute of Globalization Studies). Free and open to all; SBU students are especially encouraged to attend.
