Welcome to the Institute for Globalization Studies (IGS), which, among other things, offers a new BA in Globalization Studies and International Relations (GLI). Check out this video about the GLI major:

    • For more information about the GLI degree (major or minor), contact the Undergraduate Advisor, Jeremy Marchese: jeremy.marchese@stonybrook.edu. To officially declare the major or minor, go to SOLAR and submit the online form.



Add a GLI focus to your MA in another discipline

The "Competence in Globalization" focus is a new microcredential that you can obtain through GLI in order to make your MA more marketable.

You can earn a Master of Arts with a Focus in Globalization Studies and International Relations with one of the following MA programs:

In this meet and greet, Joseph Kim went over:

  • how to join the State Department
