STUDY AT STONY BROOK
A wide network of resources help our international students feel right at home from the very start.
As a new student, you'll be supported by the International Student Ambassadors, be able join our International Student Organization (ISO), and make new friends at iCafé, our bi-weekly academic and student services workshop.
You'll enjoy events like K-Pop dance workshops hosted by our Center for Korean Studies, and can get involved with our Korean Student Association, Korean Christian Fellowship, or DDKY traditional drumming organization.
Our academic advisors are supportive. They might do everything from helping you devise your first-semester schedule to recommending student resources, such as the writing center and tutoring centers.
Our Office of Global Affairs provides visa and immigration support, and hosts a global forum series on topics such as intercultural communication.
