On Stony Brook and CAS:
I chose SBU as provides an affordable yet high quality education. Additionally, as part of the Scholars for Medicine program's contingent acceptance to the Renaissance School of Medicine, I have the opportunity to explore during my undergrad without pressure of having to do things for the sake of my resume.

The College of Arts and Sciences provides an education that not only goes into the intricacies of your chosen major and path of study, but also provides a broad and holistic education on many other topics. In addition to being a biology major, I had the opportunity to take classes in psychology, art, philosophy, and sociology.

Advice for future Seawolves:
My biggest piece of advice is utilize all of the amazing resources that Stony Brook has to offer. One of the best parts of going to a large public school is that you can find clubs, initiatives, jobs, and programs for any possible interests you might have, And if they don't exist then you can start them!
