Christina Wheeler received her BA in Literature from Stockton University and her MFA in Creative Writing, with a concentration in nonfiction writing, from the University of Wyoming. She is researching the ways characters with disabilities are represented in fantasy literature, the methods through which concepts of disability are implemented as narrative strategies, and the effects of these representations and implementations on the real, lived experience of people with disabilities.
