beginning with Gambino’s founding contributions. Speakers include Mary Jo Bona (Stony Brook University), Fred Gardaphé (Queens College), Anthony Julian Tamburri (John D. Calandra Italian American Institute). The event will also feature personal
reflections from Gambino’s wife Gail, and Josephine Fusco, who collaborated with Gambino and Mario Mignone during a pivotal period in the history
of the Center for Italian Studies. |
