Biography
Dr. Vladimir Khachatryan is a postdoctoral fellow at the Physics Department of Indiana University. He received his PhD degree from Stony Brook University in 2018. Then he has been a postdoc at Duke University before moving to Indiana University. He is a member of the PHENIX collaboration at BNL, a member of SoLID, PRad and GlueX collaborations at JLab, as well as a member of the BESIII collaboration at BEPC II at IHEP.

Research Statement
My current primary research interest is focused on studying charmonium physics by doing data analysis in electron-positron annihilation processes with the BESIII collaboration. Besides, I am interested in studies of the charge radius of the proton and light nuclei (with the PRad collaboration in part), three-dimensional nucleon tomography in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering (with the SoLID collaboration), as well as in direct-photon and meson production in heavy ion collisions (with the PHENIX collaboration in part). In the long term, my research activities will also include hadron spectroscopy and gluon saturation studies at the Electron-Ion Collider.
