Assistant Vice President of ERM Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff for the Division of Enterprise Risk Management
Amanda Alicea oversees strategic initiatives for the Division of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). She exemplifies the spirit of Stony Brook, having been a part of the campus community for over a decade in various positions with Athletics, Conferences and Special Events, the Division of Student Affairs’ Office of the Vice President, and most recently (before her role with ERM) as the Business Development Manager for the Faculty Student Association (FSA).
With her vast institutional insight and administrative background, Amanda brings a well-rounded and hospitable approach to the Division of Enterprise Risk Management. She is working on division-wide projects to support our department’s mission, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the Stony Brook enterprise. Amanda plays a key role in cross-divisional communication, decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation serving as the liaison between members of the ERM senior leadership team for project updates, proposals, and planning with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.
Amanda is a proud Stony Brook University alumna and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
