Paul Simons Memorial Bike Path

The Paul Simons Memorial Bike Path is Stony Brook University's comprehensive bike path system that provides students, faculty, staff and visitors with a safe, sustainable alternative to travel through the University. The Paul Simons Memorial Bicycle Path was built in memory of Paul Simons, a former Stony Brook University student and avid cyclist. Biking and walking on the Paul Simons Memorial Bike Path encourages physical exercise and lowers environmental impact.

In addition to the Paul Simons Memorial Bike Path, the community can also utilize various University bicycle racks, which are positioned alongside the Paul Simons Memorial Bike Path and are available free of charge.
