Undergraduate Retention Initiatives and Success Engagement (U-RISE) believes that the student is at the center of everything. We are seeking graduate students to join our team who live these values when communicating with undergraduate students and contributing to our retention initiatives. 

What does this position do?

Graduate students from all academic programs and backgrounds can be considered for this exciting position. Students will commit 10-20 hours per week to this in-person position. Retention Advisory Council

Undergraduate Retention Initiatives and Success Engagement (U-RISE) believes that the student is at the center of everything. U-RISE hosts the credit-bearing Retention Advisory Council to engage students' voices, ideas, and expertise in retention initiatives. U-RISE believes incorporating students’ perspectives will enhance existing efforts to promote academic success. This is your chance to have a seat at the table, and help your fellow Seawolves.

What is the Retention Advisory Council?

The Retention Advisory Council is composed of undergraduate students from all class years and backgrounds. Students commit 4 hours per week to this in-person internship during both the Fall and Spring semesters, including a weekly Council meeting on Wednesday from 12pm-1:30pm each semester. Interns will earn 1 credit per semester satisfying EXP+. While we are no longer accepting applications, you can view our 2024-2025 position description here.
