  • Excellence in Professional Service

    Excellence in Professional Service

    This award goes to outstanding staff who distinguish themselves by providing exceptional service, including leadership, service to their department, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS), the university and/or the local community. All CEAS staff are eligible and nominations are made by the college’s faculty, staff and students.

Spotlight

In 2023, Chantalle McKim in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering was honored with the Dean’s Excellence in Service Award. At that time, she served as the Graduate Program Coordinator. Now, she serves as the Assistant to the Chair. This recognition comes after a thorough review of outstanding candidates from all graduate programs by the Graduate Council Fellowships and Awards Committee. Chantalle's contributions have been exceptional, playing a significant role in the university's functions and its commitment to deliver education that is both pioneering and comprehensive.
