About Us
The Stony Brook University Seawolves Pantry serves community members (students, staff, and faculty) who are food insecure, or who are at risk of food insecurity. We are committed to being a reliable and stable supplemental source of food and other basic needs, while providing resources to overcome food insecurity.
Our shelves are stocked with healthy and nutritious food options, as well as school supplies, hygiene and health products, and cooking utensils. We look forward to serving you!

SNAP Consultations
Formerly known as food stamps, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program helps low-income working people, senior citizens, and others put healthy, nutritious food on the table and feed their families. SNAP monthly benefits can be used to purchase food at authorized retail food stores.
The Seawolves Pantry offers our SNAP referral consultations to assist Stony Brook University community members in determining their eligibility for SNAP and other support services and programs.
