Monetary donations give us the flexibility and freedom to stock our shelves with the items we need the most, when they're needed the most. This provides stability and reliability to our stock that we may not have by solely relying on donated items.
By using these funds, we are also able to purchase a variety of foods, seasonings, and supplies that are not typically donated - items beyond our standard pantry staples that ensure meals are not only nutritious, but tasty and enjoyable. Overall, monetary donations are an essential tool for maintaining both quantity and variety on our pantry shelves.
